Mothers Circle Information Session
Learn about Mothers Circle: The Course for non-Jewish women and women who are Jewish by choice who are committed to raising Jewish families. Information session will give you the opportunity to meet our coordinator and facilitator and see if this FREE course is right for you.

The Mothers Circle program is coordinated and facilitated in Portland by Congregation Neveh Shalom in partnership with Congregations Beth Israel, Havurah Shalom, Kol Ami & Shaarie Torah, the Mittleman Jewish Community Center (MJCC), B’nai B’rith Camp and the Oregon Board of Rabbis. It is funded locally by grants from the Innovation Impact Fund of the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation and the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation.
Build the Sukkah
Bring your friends and family and join in building the community Sukkah in the MJCC courtyard. Storytelling provided by PJ Library. Crafts for Sukkah decorations and treats provided by Portland Jewish Academy. Sukkah building supplies provided.

Whether it’s sexting, dating, socializing, bullying, playing or learning, teens are spending more and more time online. Parents are getting mixed messages about how to handle their child’s internet use. Join speakers from Portland Family Counseling to learn how to set limits and how to maintain control of your child’s internet use.
